The Krewe's 2023 Business Update, Apparel, & More

Recap of 2022

Krewe of Kicks took strides in 2022 that have laid the groundwork for what is to come this year and the next. Behind the scenes and in the public eye on social media, the brand has done things to help the business grow and set itself up for the future. To give you a recap of some of the moves made in 2022, which will have an impact on 2023, let’s give you insight into all of the media and apparel created by The Krewe in 2022.

The seemingly biggest most recognisable change in 2022 was the addition of the Tik Tok account and the reels that have been produced since the account was created. The purpose of the Tik Tok videos is to combine the New Orleans and sneaker cultures, as has always been the purpose of Krewe of Kicks as a brand. You will see the city, hear the culture in the music, and enjoy sneaker content in almost every posted Tik Tok. With views, likes, and followers slowly growing daily, it’s easy to say Tik Tok has been the most progressive media content that has come from the brand so far. However, I don’t need to tell you that. You can look at the NOLA Nike Air Force 1 Tik Tok video as evidence.

Other Tik Toks that have garnered attention are the Hulk Marvel Bape Sta Tik Tok which has been reviewed the most, and the journey to Humidity Skateshop Tik Tok which has received the most likes. Because of the unique culture of New Orleans, the most gravitating content comes from being in the city and that will continue. Follow the brand on Tik Tok @kreweofkicks.

Since October of 2021, the sneaker articles have become useful to the common readers. In 2022, the most successful articles were titled The Rise and Future of New Balance, Mardi Gras 22’ Sock Pack, Brief Lesson on Nike ACG, and Top 5 Louisiana Sneaker Collaborations. All interesting and polarizing topics that are rarely discussed with the outlier being the news and promotion of the Krewe of Kicks Mardi Gras sock pack. Much of that success can be credited to The Krewe’s followers on Instagram, and Joe Freshgoods who reposted The Rise and Future of New Balance article on his Instagram story and brought eyes to the web page. It was surprising to get that love from Freshgoods, and if you saw that posting, I’m sure you were just as surprised. A big feat and motivating feeling that we hope to recapture this year with the continuation of the articles.

Moving forward, this year one of the top focuses will be the apparel side of the business. Last year, the Krewe of Kicks Mardi Gras pack was rolled out and is still available on the site with the addition of a special yellow Mardi Gras sock now available as well. Get them now before they’re gone. However, this year will bring more sock colorways in different styles and expand the apparel into other clothing pieces.


What's Coming in 2023

So what’s exactly coming in 2023? Well The Krewe has produced a subsidiary brand for the apparel and accessories side of the business called Krewe Studio. It will serve as a general apparel and accessories brand for producing inspired products that includes high quality embroidered clothing. At this current juncture, the apparel will focus on the theme of workwear clothing; putting together collections that will touch on many interesting lines of work. Those themes could include targeting topics of jobs such as baristas, mechanics, athletics, business attire, and more. This week, we are introducing the first mini capsule collection called "Café en France" which will introduce the theme of working in a cafe in France. Take a sneak peek below. Additionally, The Krewe is also opening up the option for customers to request custom embroidery on any products of their choosing. Customers may inquire about custom embroidery by sending their designs in and by presenting their idea to execute their design on a blank article of clothing or accessory. In return, customers will receive an estimated cost and a lead time for receiving their product. Also, if any existing business or customers are looking to start a business with a need for a bulk of embroidered product, then The Krewe will offer services to embroider any business products and have them ready for the customer in a timely manner. Conclusion

In conclusion, 2023 will be an exhilarating year for the brand and the customers who support it. The content on Tik Tok and Instagram will only get better. Articles that you read will only become more useful and informative and give you more advice on what sneakers to cop. More sock styles and colors will be released more often. The Krewe Studio will be established and will produce gripping products for customers.
